Women expose police officer who allegedly took a bribe.

SECUNDA – Bail was denied to a police officer who was arrested for corruption on 17 October.

It is alleged that two women paid Const Linda Ngwenya to be released from custody.

According to the police, information about the bribe surfaced in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court when the court issued a verdict that the women pay a fine.

They said in court that they had already paid Const Ngwenya.

He was arrested immediately and appeared in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court for bail, but it was denied.

His case was postponed until 26 November.
