Fishing enthusiasts should make a big red circle on their calendar for 21 November.
Khan’s Angling and Cycling is hosting a fishing expo with Loutjie Louwies of ConofleX Competition Baits and the Sensation team with Pierre Jacobs and Ridwaan Docrat.
For those who follow Vaskap on ASTV on the OpenView HD (OVHD) decoder, Loutjie Louwies needs no introduction.
Loutjie has been fishing from the age of two, is a four time world champion and has gained national colours 16 times.
With oodles of knowledge in the fishing sphere, you cannot afford to miss the four-hour clinic he will be hosting on the day.
The clinic will shed some light on bait presentation, fishing tackle, casting methods as well as general fishing techniques.
“You are never too old to learn,” Loutjie said.
“In the same way technology changes, the sport of fishing has seen tremendous transformations as well.
“It is therefore imperative that anglers stay up to date with the latest on fishing by attending this clinic and expo.”
Those who attended last year’s expo with Pierre Jacobs and Ridwaan Docrat of Sensation can vouch for an insightful day with the added bonus of free giveaways and prizes that were up for grabs. The street outside the shop was a hive of activity with a wealth of information shared by the Sensation duo and this year will surely be no different.
“It is going to be bigger and better than last year,” Mr Zahid Khan of Khan’s Angling and Cycling said.
“The expo will cater from the novice to the expert angler, and the best is, it’s free!”
