Man stabbed in the heart
The suspect fled the scene, but was later apprehended by the Sakhile Police.

A man was allegedly drinking with friends at Sijola Tavern in Rooikoppen on 31 October and later died of a knife wound.
He had words with another man over an unknown issue and a fight broke out.
It is known that these two men had a history of fighting.
The fight turned ugly when the accused stabbed the man and left the knife in his heart.
According to witnesses, the victim took a step back and collapsed.
While on his back, he removed the knife which led to excessive bleeding.
He was rushed to the Lillian Mambakazi Clinic where he died on arrival.
He was identified as Mr Thulane Christopher Khumalo and was in his mid-twenties.
The suspect fled the scene, but was later apprehended by the Sakhile Police.
A murder case was opened and the suspect briefly appeared in the Standerton Magistrate’s Court.
The Sakhile Police are investigating the case.
