Man loses consciousness after assault

A fight broke out and the victim saw three other men approaching.

A man was allegedly assaulted at Motswako Nightclub in Sakhile on 24 October.

According to the victim, he drank a few drinks and decided to leave.

He was seated behind the driver’s seat of his car and his girlfriend was standing next to his window as they were talking.

He saw another man, that he knew, approaching them.

The man began talking to his girlfriend and the victim asked him to leave.

The man then said he was talking to the woman and not the victim.

Once again the victim asked him to leave and he got out of his vehicle.

A fight broke out and the victim saw three other men, with beer bottles in their hands, approaching.

The one assailant kicked him in his face, as well as hitting him with a bottle, and he lost consciousness.

The security guard took him to the Standerton Hospital where he received stitches to the head.

An assault case was opened.
