Department kept on their toes

The Department of Fire, Rescue and Disaster Management was kept busy the last weeks of October and attended to the following incidents.

A one-room shack in Rooikoppen burnt after a two-plate stove presumably was left on.

No one was injured, but the kitchen unit was damaged.

Two veld fires broke out, but no damage was reported.

Two vehicles were involved in an accident at the Stefina Street and Nelson Mandela Drive intersection on 24 October.

Occupants sustained minor injuries.
