Three men sustain serious injuries after stabbing

He said the three security guards stabbed three men and the fourth one fled the scene.

Three men sustained serious injuries after they were stabbed outside a tavern in Ext 6 on 5 December.

According to Lt Fanie Nhlabathi, communications officer of the Standerton Police, a fight broke out between the security guards and four men outside the tavern.

He said the three security guards stabbed three men and the fourth one fled the scene.

“As he was running he got hit by a car and died,” Lt Nhlabathi said.

According to Lt Nhlabathi, the driver of the vehicle was not arrested.

A case of culpable homicide was opened and the Standerton Police are investigating the case.

Kasselman Security Services said the severely injured men were lying on the ground upon arrival. According to them, the ambulance took a while to get to the scene.

They were later admitted to the Standerton Hospital.

According to Lt Nhlabathi, no case has been opened.

“The men who were stabbed have not opened a case.”
