Stolen car recovered burned-out

It was parked outside his business when thieves stole it.

A white Ford Bantam bakkie was stolen in Meyerville on 29 December.

The bakkie belonged to the owner of Skyline, Mr Alberto Franco.

After making the discovery, he wrote in the Standerton Veiligheid Whatsapp group that his car was missing and also went to the police to report the theft.

“I received a call from someone notifying me that they found my bakkie the next day,” Mr Franco said.

It was found burning on the Roberts Drift Road and the wheels, bumper and other parts were removed.
