Man dies in car crash, 1 239 ecstacy tablets discovered in vehicle

“The deceased had no external injuries, but his right leg was broken,” W/O Moloi said

A 42-year-old man who was travelling from Johannesburg to Newcastle died in suspicious circumstances after a car crash in Platrand on 4 January.

According to W/O Harry Moloi, communications officer of the Perdekop Police, the deceased’s name was Wiseman Mndaweni.

Mr Mndaweni, who was travelling alone, died on the scene.

According to W/O Moloi, the police found 1 239 ecstasy tablets.
