Attempted armed robbery in Secunda

Four armed men apparently tried to rob a home in Secunda at about 10:30 am today.

The help of the home heard a noise outside, opened the garage door and asked the men what they were doing.

One of the men allegedly pointed his gun while running towards her.

She ran into the home, locked the door and pressed the panic button.

Even though the sirens went off, one of the men apparently still shouted at her to open the door while trying to forcefully kick it open.

According to the neighbour the men arrived in a silver car and the home owner mentioned that the security company responded fast.
