SECUNDA – God revealed to leadership through 1 Samuel 7:12 in Scripture that it was time to erect a cornerstone at the Cross Generation Secunda Full Gospel Church.
Past Gerhard Swart from Standerton came to Secunda to unveil the cornerstone on Sunday, 16 October.
Past Charles Lawrence was the pastor who held a service on 15 December 2013.
It was a new beginning for the church.
God gave this congregation Joshua 1:6 in the Bible that says: “Be strong, be courageous.”
The congregation held on to this Scripture and God blessed the church.
Cross Generation grew from that moment and is getting stronger daily.
God gave this congregation a new verse in the Bible, namely 2 Chronicles 7:15 – “Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attend unto the prayer that is made in this place.”
Friends and family enjoyed the service with worship and fellowship.
After the unveiling of the cornerstone, everyone enjoyed a feast that was prepared by members of the congregation.
“This a day that people will not soon forget.
“A new season for the congregation is at hand with our focus on Father God,” said Past Lawrence.
He and his wife, Ms Susan Lawrence, thanked the leadership of the church for their hard work over the past years.
