Mashudu hosts outstanding women’s high tea

The aim of the event is to converge women under one roof with a purpose of inspiring and empowering each other.

SECUNDA – “I am a Woman, I have a Purpose” will host a women’s high tea at Umuzi Lodge on 6 May.

Ms Mashudu Constance Mulaudzi, organiser, said the theme is what women carry in their purses.

She added that the challenges faced by women of today are different from the ones women faced in 1958, but what is similar is that they are still women.

The aim of the event is to converge women under one roof with a purpose of inspiring and empowering one another.

“I believe women will be empowered to make positive decisions after the high tea, have access to information and resources, positive thinking in the ability to make changes, be willing to involve themselves in the growth process and change that is never ending and self initiated.

“One’s positive self-image will be increased,” said Ms Mulaudzi, who could not overemphasise the importance of empowering women for building a healthier, better educated, more peaceful and prosperous society.

Speakers will include Ms Gloria Nkosi, businesswoman, philanthropist, speaker, founder of Esther Women in the Kingdom Awards and radio broadcaster, Mr Ackson Mwami, personal leadership speaker and author of three inspirational books including his best seller I interviewed God, and Ms Nomvula Mokoena, owner of NSM Global Link and host of Boss Lady Global).

The event begins at 10am and the tickets are available at Computicket.
