Sasol recognises top achievers during 23rd annual Grade 12 Merit Awards

This year 100 learners received merit award certificates, as well as cash prizes for their outstanding performance.

Sasol together with its education flagship project Osizweni Science Centre, hosted this 23rd annual Grade 12 Merit Awards where the best performing learners in Govan Mbeki, Lekwa and Dipaleseng municipalities were recognised. The awards also acknowledge the best performing teachers and schools in these areas, particularly those who performed well in math and science.

The awards were given out to learners who have obtained three or more distinctions, and the overall top achievers from Quintile 1 -3 schools (non-fee schools) and Quintile 4 schools. The best performing teachers and most improved schools also received awards.
