Lekwa West Circuit scooped three big awards at the Gert Sibande District Awards Function in Ermelo on 19 January.

Lekwa, under the management of Ms Yasmeen Mohammed, was crowned the best circuit for the fourth consecutive year.

The best school and best learner honours went to Hoërskool Standerton and Moné Human respectively.

The circuit is currently ranked fourth in the overall 68 circuits in Mpumalanga.

Standerton Mica and VRK Auditors awarded the three recipients brand new laptops.
