Man found near Pick n Pay succumbs to injuries at Ermelo Provincial Hospital

A patient was brought to the hospital on 5 February with various injuries after he was found in the vicinity of Pick n Pay.

Ermelo police are investigating a case of murder after a 60-year-old man died at the Ermelo Provincial Hospital on Saturday morning, 10 February.

According to their spokesman, Capt Carla Prinsloo, the hospital reported the death to the police after the patient was brought to the hospital on 5 February with various injuries.

He was found in the vicinity of Pick n Pay.

The police suspect the man was assaulted.
