Police are investigating the murder of a man who was found dead in Ext 20 on Saturday, 10 February.
He sustained stab wounds in the right of his neck and there was blood all over his body.
The man was declared dead on the scene and his body was taken to the state mortuary in Evander.
He has not yet been identified.
Police urged those who can help with any information, to contact Sgt Melusi Mthombeni at 082 970 5767.
In another incident, a man is fighting for his life in hospital after being hit with a brick and he was struck with a gun in Ext 7.
The victim was at work when he received a call from his wife that two men were intimidating her.
On his arrival, the suspects got violent and assaulted him.
He was admitted to hospital.
No one has been arrested yet.
