Suspects who are charged with the murder of Mr Jabulani Mahlangu (47) will appear in the Standerton Magistrate’s Court again on 26 February.
The body of Mr Mahlangu was found floating in the stream separating Rooikoppen and Wela-Mlambo on 9 November about 6pm.
“A passerby noticed the body and immediately called the Sakhile Police,” the police said.
“The deceased had four visible wounds to the left cheek, another on his nose, left eye and forehead,” Const Duduzile Zwane, communications officer of the Sakhile Police, said.
All four suspects are currently out on bail.
