Lekwa Municipality patches potholes

According to Ms Thobeka Mtshiselwa (communications manager: Lekwa Municipality), it is an on going programme aimed at improving road conditions through service delivery.

Lekwa Municipality undertook on 20 February to patch the ever present potholes in town every Tuesday.

The programme began in Mbonani Mayisela Street next to the Standerton taxi rank.

According to Ms Thobeka Mtshiselwa, communications manager of the municipality, it is an ongoing campaign aimed at improving road conditions through service delivery.

Political leadership and administration vowed to spend at least two hours every Tuesday to tackle areas that need major interventions.
