The Ridge Times seek comment today from Govan Mbeki Municipality’s Chief of Staff regarding the alleged recall of Ms Flora Maboa-Boltman as executive mayor.
He however referred the newspaper to the ANC.
The ANC said they will issue a statement on Monday.
Reliable sources have informed the Ridge Times on Frisay, 2 March that Ms Flora Maboa-Boltman has been recalled as executive mayor of the Govan Mbeki Municipality.
It is alleged that the ANC branches will be formally informed by the decision in Bethal.
The newspaper contacted Ms Maboa-Boltman but she was not available for comment.
