School girls allegedly assaulted another learner during a rugby match in Sakhile on 15 March.
According to police, the learner made negative comments about one of the girls’ weight during the match.
The insulted party then allegedly recruited her friends to beat the learner, to which they obliged.
The police tried to advise the girls’ parents to sort the matter out in private.
