A man allegedly ran over a SPCA volunteer, Ms Chanae Elliott (19), at the auction grounds in Standerton on Friday, 16 March.
Ms Elliott opened a case of attempted murder at Standerton Police Station and the national SPCA council was also informed about the incident.

The man apparently lives in Randfontein and police are still investigating the case.
The SPCA recently began educating the drivers and people loading animals onto the trailers.
