KINROSS – The body of an 18-month-old baby was found in the road outside a shebeen in Marikana Settlement on Sunday, 15 April.
According to Sgt Jaco Nagel the baby girl was found with tyre track marks on her face, suggesting that she was run over.

“We could only find out that the last vehicle seen in that area on Sunday was a truck from Kriel that illegally delivered alcohol to this illegal tavern. It is unclear where the child’s mother was at the time or why the baby was lying in the road.”
