The hi-jackers jumped into the vehicle and drove to a suburb in Pretoria where they threw Ms Masibuko from the car.

Sgt Jaco Nagel, spokesman for the Kinross Police Station, said W/O Vusi Mabena and his team traced the gang to Ivory Park in the eastern part of Gauteng where they arrested one of the suspects. Three gang members are still at large and a fourth died in a shootout with the Ivory Park Police.

The arrested suspect will possibly appear in court on 23 April, according to Sgt Nagel.

“We hope to soon execute more arrests.”
