“The decision to recall Mr Dhlamini still stands.”

Lekwa mayor, Mr Linda Dhlamini allegedly defied the decision of the Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) by refusing to step down.

Mr Dhlamini, a provincial deputy secretary of the South African National Civic Organisation (Sanco), was recalled on 18 March.
