KINROSS – Protesters are currently gathering at the Kinross Municipal offices and are barricading roads and burning tyres.
The R29 road has also been blocked off by angry protesters.
The Ridge Times received information from a reliable source that two people have been arrested following looting of shops in the area.
All foreign national shops in the area have closed their doors in fear of being looted.
People are urged to use alternative routes such as the N17 highway.
