Water pressure back to normal according to Govan Mbeki Municipality

This comes after communities of Thistle Grove in Kinross, parts of Secunda and eMbalenhle have been without water since 10 May.

Govan Mbeki Municipality has issued a media statement this afternoon, 14 May regarding the low water pressure.

This comes after communities of Thistle Grove in Kinross, parts of Secunda and eMbalenhle have been without water since 10 May.

In the statement, the municipality offers its sincere apology to the communities that were affected by this water crises.

According to the executive mayor, Ms Thandi Ngxonono, this matter has been resolved and the water pressure is back to normal as the reservoirs are filling up to capacity.

“We apologise profoundly for this inconvenience and send our gratitude to the community of Govan Mbeki for their patience during this period.”
