eMBALENHLE – Various dangerous weapons were recovered by police at Kusasalethu Comprehensive School and KI Thwala Secondary School on Friday, 18 May.
The eMbalenhle Crime Prevention Unit, the Secunda K9 Unit and the Secunda Cluster Task Team conducted a search at the schools as part of the school safety programme.
This came after the school principals complained about learners carrying dangerous weapons to school.

Brig Sifiso Cele, cluster commander, led the teams and addressed and warned the learners about the consequences of crime.
He encouraged them to refrain from criminal activities and to concentrate on their studies.
