Sakhile Police offered safety tips against housebreaking and theft to the community.

According to Const Duduzile Zwane, communications officer, the community is experiencing a significant rise in housebreaking.

She urged the community to be wary at all times and pointed out the following measures:

Do not leave outside lights on the whole day.
Keep the all doors properly locked.
Never leave your valuables within easy reach.
Keep all the emergency contact numbers handy.
Never leave keys hanging on the door.
Should you observe anything suspicious, inform the police immediately.
