[BREAKING NEWS] Security companies recover stolen bakkie and signal jammer in Evander

According to Mr Jacques Alberts from Stratcon, a powerful signal jamming device was found inside the stolen vehicle.

EVANDER – A bakkie was recovered soon after being stolen this morning, 20 September.

Messrs Willem Pretorius and Jan Grobler from Luger Security were on a routine patrole near shaft 6 when they noticed two vehicles.

“They looked suspicious and as we drove closer to block their path, the people in both cars sped away towards Secunda.”

Mr Pretorius said the man in the bakkie eventually stopped, jumped out and ran to the other car. They all fled in the second vehicle.

The offiicers from Luger called StratconRisk for back-up as soon as they suspected that the bakkie was stolen.

Mr Pretorius said he took the stolen bakkie to their guard house.

According to Mr Jacques Alberts from StratconRisk, a powerful signal jamming device was found inside the stolen vehicle.
