SECUNDA – A bicycle thief was apprehended near the Sasol Club on Tuesday, 25 September.
According to Mr Alfie Byleveldt from StratconRisk, they teamed up with SSS and the police when a resident reported catching a suspect with a stolen bicycle near the Driefontein Centre at about 9.30am.
This suspect dropped the bicycle and scaled a nearby wall to escape.
In their search for this suspect, StratconRisk and SSS came across a man with a tarp and children’s bicycle near the Sasol Club.
With the help of the police, it was established that these were also stolen goods. The man was arrested and the bicycles recovered.
These are now at the Secunda Police Station.
