Govan Mbeki Municipality holds IDP meeting tonight

SECUNDA – A rescheduled IDP meeting for Secunda residents will take place at 6pm at the Lillian Ngoyi Centre tonight.

Ms Mariaan Chamberlain, DA councillor, urged residents to attend this meeting and said it had to be rescheduled because only 16 residents attended the previous meeting.

Ms Chamberlain said: “Residents must attend this meeting because here we as councillors cannot take up residents’ billing and service delivery issues.”

The IDP meeting is the Integrated Development Plan for each ward that needs to be implemented in the Govan Mbeki Municipality’s budget.
