Cash prizes up for grabs at the Trichardt Chess Club’s Open Chess Tournament

TRICHARDT – The Trichardt Chess Club is alive and active and is inviting you to their Open Chess Tournament on Saturday 3 November.

The first 50 entries will be accepted for the tournament being held at the NG Church Hall in Grey Street.

Registration begins at 7.45am on Saturday and the competition will last until about 4pm. There is R13 500 in cash prizes from Planet Pawn Brokers to be won.

The club was founded by Mr Shaun Engelbrecht (president), Mr Henning Botha (treasurer), Ms Erika Meyer (secretary) and Mr Chris Harrison as additional member.
