eMBALENHLE – Police’s swift response resulted in the recovery of a hijacked vehicle.
This came after a motorist was driving home from work when a white Golf blocked the road.
It is alleged that the three suspects jumped out of the Golf and forced the motorists out of his car.
They allegedly hit him in the head with an unknown object and fled the scene.
Police were called and upon investigation, they spotted the suspects’ Golf parked near the Old Bracken Mine and the stolen car was recovered in the same vicinity.
Police arrested the three suspects and they are expected to appear in court.
