Mihle accompanied her older sister to a local salon earlier in the day.
She allegedly left her sister and went home after she complained of hunger, but never reached home.
Her father reported her missing at about 7.45pm at the police station.
An intensive search was launched in conjunction with the community members and Sector Crime Forum.
Her body was found with her hands and feet tied. It is suspected that she might have been raped.

Lerato (Rato) Nkutha (11) was found raped, murdered and dumped in a yard in eMbalenhle on 9 May.
She disappeared on 7 May. Her mother became worried when Rato did not return home from a nearby shop.
