eMZINONI – A 14-year-old girl refused to open a case of statutory rape against her adult boyfriend, however, her uncle later opened one at eMzinoni Police Station.
It is alleged that the girl in question told the police that her boyfriend did not rape her and that the act was consensual.
The strange behaviour of the girl alerted the uncle and upon investigation, he discovered that she is dating an adult male.
He also learned that his niece is sexually active and therefore proceeded to open a case of statutory rape against him.
