[BREAKING NEWS] Angry mob attacks alleged rape and murder suspect, burn down shack

eMBALENHLE – Angry residents have burned down a shack belonging to a rape and murder suspect, following the killing of Mihle Zingamo.

The suspect was allegedly assaulted, however, police managed to rescue him from the angry mob and he was taken to the police station.

At this stage, it is unclear how the community identified the alleged suspect.

The road next to the Extention 17 taxi rank, has been barricaded by residents.

It is alleged that on Wednesday, 7 November, Mihle Zingamo, deceased, accompanied her older sister to a local salon.

She allegedly left her sister and went home after she complained of hunger, but never reached home.

On the same day at approximately 19:45, her father reported her missing at the local police station.

An intensive search was launched in conjunction with community members and the Sector Crime Forum.

However, her body was later found dumped on the street at Extension 17 with her hands and feet tied.
