The car will be taken to the morgue to be opened there. Its suspected that it has been in the dam for a long time.

Police suspect bodies found in car are those of missing couple

The Evander police has just released the names of the two people who the police suspect to have been in the car found in the water under a bridge near Unicor Dam today, 16 November.
Sgt Sibusiso Mbuli, spokesman for Evander Police, confirmed that the car, a black VW Citi Golf, belonged to Mr Siyabonga Nkabi, who was reported as missing on 4 July.
Ms Precious Mtsweni, who was last seen with Mr Nkabi, was also reported missing.

Due to the condition of the bodies, they cannot conclusively confirm the identities.

The next of kin have been informed.

The car will be taken to the morgue to be opened there. Its suspected that it has been in the dam for a long time.

Police suspect that there could be more thanĀ one body in the car.

A car with a body inside was found submerged in water under a bridge near the Unicor Dam this morning.

Divers from Delta 1 rescue found the car during a diving exercise.

The Secunda/Evander road has been reopened.
