SECUNDA – The police warned residents of Secunda and surrounding towns to be more vigilant and to watch out for fraudsters and con-artists.
According to Capt Bettina Zondo, spokesman for the Secunda Police, fraud is rife in the area and almost not a day goes by without someone reporting to police that they had been defrauded.
“There are many con-men on the Internet, so be extra careful when you want to sell something online, albeit a car, a laptop or anything else of value.
“Do not give your bank card and PIN to anyone, not even a family member,” warned Capt Zondo.
