Lions Club hosts annual Christmas lunch

This tradition has been going on for more than 40 years.

The Lions Club’s involvement in the community will once again be felt on 9 December when the annual Christmas lunch for senior citizens take place.

This tradition has been going on for more than 40 years.

Mr Tim Cochrane, who is one of the organisers, expects about 60 people for the three-course meal at the clubhouse.

“Invitations have been sent to the people concerned,” he said.

Guests can sit down from 12.30pm onwards to enjoy the Lions ladies’ contribution for the starter, main course and dessert.
