eMBALENHLE – A man was killed and another injured after they were shot during a fight in Extension 22.
It is alleged that residents managed to disarm the shooter and they allegedly assaulted him. He later died at Evander Hospital.
Police said at this stage it is unclear what the fight was about.
The gun was allegedly taken by one of the residents who then vanished with it and eventually brought it to the police after they were looking for him.
Police said the man was charged and arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm.
He is expected to appear in the Evander Magistrate’s Court soon.
