BETHAL – The municipal fire brigade and Delta 1 divers helped the police recover a man’s body from a sewage dam in Bethal this afternoon, 10 December.
The police suspect that the body is that of Mr Vukani Thulani Kubheka (Arthur) who was kidnapped in eMbalenhle on 1 December.
Police tracked down the alleged kidnappers over the weekend. The two suspects were arrested in Delmas.
They took the police to the cemetery where the man was allegedly murdered and then to where the body was dumped.
The family was apparently at the scene when the body was recovered.
Bethal Fire Department, Emzinoni Fire Department and Delta 1 Rescue Diving were on the scene.
