SECUNDA – Mmamokgele Mphokane and Caitlin Murray from Hoërskool Secunda achieved a third overall position in South Africa at the Step Up 2 A Start Up entrepreneurial competition hosted by Primestar Marketing.
These girls were the only participants selected from Mpumalanga to compete against thousands of others entered this competition.
They won R15 000 each, a bursary to study any BA or Bsc degree at Richfield College once they have finished Grade 12, an incubator (funding opportunity) programme for their business idea from Raizcorp, and a business development and marketing support programme from The Small Enterprise Development Agency.
