Feral Watch in Secunda seeks owner of impaled cat
Resident finds cat impaled on palisades
SECUNDA – A grey cat was found impaled on palisade doggy bars of a house in Langeberg Street in Secunda this morning, 21 March.
Ms Nicolette van Zyl of Feral Watch TNR was contacted about the distressed animal.
The cat was apparently very aggressive and a neighbour was unable to help it.
The kitty died as Ms Van Zyl and her husband removed it from the palisades.
She is now searching for its owners.
“It is definitely someone’s pet. We have not yet confirmed the sex, but I suspect it is a spayed male.”
Ms Van Zyl said the animal was well fed and looked after.
