#PayBailBloodDrive: Bethal CPF will arrest suspects in search of blood

BETHAL – Bethal Community Policing Forum (CPF) will be hosting a Pay Bail Blood Drive at the Bethal Donor Centre on Saturday, 13 April.

The idea is that the community must donate blood to free their friends who will be held captive at the donor centre.

A police van will pick up the ‘suspects’ who will be placed under arrest and taken to ‘jail’ until enough blood is donated to let them free.

The community can donate blood from 8am to 3pm.

The Bethal CPF’s target is 20 units of blood for the day.

Mr Jaap Pretorius, chairman of Bethal CPF, urged residents to support this cause.

“More blood is needed with the upcoming Easter weekend,” said Mr Pretorius.
