People enjoy Mental Health fundraiser in Secunda

Christina Retief entertains audience with music

SECUNDA – Mental Health Secunda’s branch hosted its annual fundraiser at Makoro Hall at Lake Umuzi on Saturday, 4 May.

Local artist, Christina Retief, entertained the audience with her music.

Ms Karen Asia, director of Mental Health Secunda, said the aim of the event was to educate the public about the services Mental Health offers and to make them aware that mental health can help with depression, anxiety and other intellectual and psychosocial conditions.

They showed a video what they do at and also about different scenarios relating to mental health.

Ms Carly Natasen, founder of the a magazine, spoke about her magazine and also about self awareness.
