Pep Stores in Charl Cilliers Street in Standerton was the target of a robbery on Monday, 8 July.
Police cordoned off the area and the door was closed shortly afterwards.
The Standerton Advertiser contacted the manager of the retail outlet, Mr Nathi Mandela, at 12.50pm to ascertain whether the amount of goods or cash stolen could be confirmed.
Mr Mandela undertook to get back to the newspaper since they were still establishing the extent of the theft.
