Everyone was a winner at the Spur Singing Stars competition

El Condor Spur hosted one of may Spur Singing Star competitions in which local primary school learners competed.

El Condor Spur was packed with parents, teachers, family and friends who came to see their stars sing on 11 July.

Spur hosted one of many Spur Singing Star competitions in which local primary school learners competed.

Laerskool Standerton’s choir opened the event with a song.

Individual choir members however, took part in the competition.

Great prizes were up for grabs, but even bigger prizes can be won at the final.

El Condor Spurs’ stars were:

Jenna van Vuuren who is going through to the final round.

In second place was Siyamthanda Phaka and in third place Lee-Anne van Vuuren.

Jenna goes through to the finals which is hosted in Centurion on 20 September.

Moloko Mamabolos’ mother wiped her tears before she sang. After a beautiful song was performed.
