Another success for Sasol Techo X

It was the third time Sasol Tcho X was hosted at Sasol club from 29 July to 2 August. During 2015 and 2017 more than 48 000 learners from different provinces attended the exhibition.

SECUNDA – The third Sasol Techno X was hosted at the Sasol Club from 29 July to 2 August.

Sasol Techno X is an exhibition that focuses on displays, workshops, tours, talks and hands-on activities aimed at enthusing learners, students and the public about the endless possibilities of science and technology.

To reach government’s objective of six per cent economic growth, South Africa needs well-qualified people to build and strengthen the economy in an increasingly competitive global marketplace.

During 2015 and 2017 more than 48 000 learners from different provinces attended the exhibition.

Learners are exposed to the possibilities of new and evolving careers by accessing the information through the exhibition.

They can engage directly with academic institutions in order to get better insights on the fields of study they would like to pursue.

The purpose of the exhibition is to also develop and maintain intellectual capital in all key business disciplines.

This include mining, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, finance, administration and environmental management, because it is so critical.

Sasol Techno X seeks to expose, at a practical level, the many facets of technology and encourage learners to explore the wide range of exciting disciplines and career choices that science, maths and technology offer.
