Standerton-learners join Drakensberg Boys Choir in song

The Drakensberg Boys Choir also took part and choristers were treated to a tour of the Drakensberg Boys Choir School, as well as a practice session in their auditorium before the main performance.

A total of six learners from Standerton participated in a choir festival close to Spioenkop Dam in KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday, 3 August.

They are members of the Highveld Youth Choir.

The Drakensberg Boys Choir also took part and choristers were treated to a tour of the Drakensberg Boys Choir School, as well as a practice session in their auditorium before the main performance.

This performance included two mass choir items with the boys choir.

Laerskool Kalie de Haas was represented by Jasmyn Archer, Standerton Primary School was represented by Allanah White, while Hoërskool Standerton was represented by Zané Swart, Marli Wolmarans, Kobus Swart and and John Lecordier.
