Police members celebrate their diversity

Some police officers stuck to their uniform while others dressed up, and then there were also those who preferred a Springbok shirt.

SECUNDA – The police stations within the Secunda Cluster celebrated their diverse cultures as part of Heritage Month on Thursday, 26 August.

Dressed in their cultural attire are Const Linda Shabangu, Col Dumisani Majola (cluster), Brig Sifiso Cele (cluster), Col Msebenzi Nzima, Const Thomas Mogadime, intern Mbogeni Makhubela and Ms Linah Nkosi from Bethal and eMzinoni.

Each station or unit in the cluster made traditional dishes and dressed accordingly. There were potjiekos, amase, samp, curry and braaivleis.

Some police officers stuck to their uniform while others dressed up, and then there were also those who preferred a Springbok shirt.

Ms Stella Genade from the Secunda cluster wears a tradition head gear.

The officers and also civilian workers at the police stations danced, mingled and played traditional games.
