eMba police ask next of kin to identify a body

Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Sergeant Menzi Hlophe on 073 324 9191.

The eMbalenhle police need help to identify a man who died over Christmas last year. This African man’s body remains unclaimed.

The deceased was taken to the Evander Hospital by paramedics after sustaining serious head injuries. He was admitted to the hospital as an unknown person, and limited information is currently available regarding his identity or family.

The man died in hospital on December 26.

SAPS in eMbalenhle are appealing to anyone who may have a family member missing during this period, or anyone with information that could help identify the man.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Sergeant Menzi Hlophe on 073 324 9191 or report to the eMbalenhle Police Station or their nearest police station.

Members of the public are urged to share this notice widely to help SAPS identify the deceased and reunite him with his family.
